Shipping Policy

At IH Pentz Campus Bookshop, we aim to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible while ensuring your books arrive safely.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days after payment has been received and cleared.

Orders are processed and dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and South African public holidays.

During peak periods, including the start of academic semesters, promotional events, and holiday seasons, processing times may be slightly longer. Should there be any significant delay, we will contact you using the details provided with your order.

Shipping and Delivery

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation and tracking information where available.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination and courier service selected. While we work with trusted courier partners, delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Please ensure that your shipping address and contact details are accurate when placing your order. IH Pentz Campus Bookshop cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Special Orders and Imported Titles

Books that are specially ordered, imported, or sourced from international suppliers may require additional processing and delivery time. Estimated lead times will be communicated where possible.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are based on the delivery location, package size, and selected shipping method.

Any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import charges for international shipments are the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery Issues

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or you believe it has been lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible at ijak.pentz@wits.ac.za so that we can investigate and assist.
